The main catalyst changes the chemical reaction rate and improves selectivity and yield, mainly including heterogeneous catalysts such as Pt/C and Pd/Al₂O₃, as well as homogeneous catalysts such as Pd(PPh₃)₄ and Rh(C₅H₇O₂)(CO)(PPh₃).
